What is a venue manager?
A venue manager coordinates all of the on-site aspects of your event. They schedule your event, coordinate vendor access, manage venue staffing, oversee in-house offerings (catering, bar service, room turn-overs, basic AV connection), cleaning of the venue, guests/vendors entry & exit, and venue security.
Venue Manager Vs. Event Planner?
A venue manager differs from a planner because they do not manager your timeline beyond the venue responsibility. A venue manager will ensure your food comes out on time but, they are not responsible for your personal timeline such as speeches or wedding details.
An event planner will coordinate your full timeline (level of planning depends on what package you choose and who you choose). They handle both minor and major detailing, from floral & candle placement to gathering your belongings and packing them up after the
event.
